SWEET SPOT

Increase your ball speeds across the entire face for greater distance. Acer added a technologically enhanced active cup-face design to the forged, 4-piece construction to expand the sweet spot.

GREATER EFFICIENCY AT IMPACT

In the SR1’s active cup-face construction, part of the face plate is incorporated into the sole, crown, and skirt area of the head. This wrap-around face technology pushes the weld back away from the actual face. Thus, more deflection occurs producing higher ball speeds to areas over a much wider area than the center of the face as compared to traditional edge-welded designs.

GREATER FORGIVENESS AND HIGHER LAUNCH

A rear center of gravity location produces a high launch angle, provides greater forgiveness on off-center shots, and makes it easier to close the club face at impact. In addition, the Gravity Port allows for fine-tuning of swingweight for different shaft weights and balance points and custom assembly lengths. Additional screws sold separately.
